Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Pre-construction Estimator to support managers with estimating, information procurement, and preparation of bid proposals. You will participate in market strategies, client development, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

The role involves coordinating documents, attending to schedules, and assisting in the handoff to construction. Some travel and relocation considerations may apply, with a focus on accurate budgeting

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with pre-construction estimating and information procurement.
• Strong analytical skills for data and figures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pre-construction Managers with pre-construction and estimating information procurement, process setup, engagement and completion of related tasks.
• Assist and participate in preconstruction training, work product, scheduling and performance.
• Participate in creating and executing strategies for new business development, marketing, and procurement of new client relationships.
• Maintain and be a positive influence on existing client relationships.
• Manage procurement of documents, information, plans and specifications and assemble proposals, bids and presentations to clients.
• Coordinate bid proposals and ensure all forms are completed and submitted with each proposal.
• Assist in subcontractor and vendor vetting and relationship management beneficial to GMCA.
• Maintain estimating records and assist with handoff to Construction Department.
