Job summary

MW_enterprise is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support all facets of assigned projects and ensure delivery to the customer. The role emphasizes coordination of resources, defining project objectives, and lifecycle oversight.

The incumbent collaborates with the Project Manager to monitor progress, budgets, and schedules, and may act as Project Manager in their absence. Strong supervisory and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience required, including knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager with coordinating project resources, schedules and budgets; may serve as acting Project Manager when needed.
• Supervises maintenance personnel, Office Assistant and other staff; participates in performance evaluations and leaves approvals.
• Maintains contact with COTR and tenant representatives to ensure work aligns with contract specs and informs of schedule changes.
• Acts as second point of contact to Contract Managers and government officials; communicates changes to contract scope as needed.
• Oversees shifts, prepares timely reports to PM and VP of Facilities Management Services.
• Reviews requisitions for supplies/equipment; coordinates with Purchasing Agent for maintenance needs.
• Assists in budget preparation, department goals, and contract pricing renewals; contributes data for labor hour requirements and changes.
