E-J Electric Installation Co. in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, execution, and finance of construction projects.

You will manage vendors, maintain client contact, and ensure documentation aligns with project standards and company policies. This role requires 1–3 years PM experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical contracting/engineering, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of project manager experience in electrical/construction.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical contracting/engineering.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, management direction, and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate vendors and subcontractors and maintain client contact.
• Ensure project documentation complies with standards and company policies.
• Prepare estimates for additional scopes of work and manage drawings/docs in Procore.
• Attend project meetings and maintain progress and closeout records.
