Job summary

E-J Group in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, lead project meetings, maintain documentation, and manage schedules and budgets to maximize efficiency and profitability.

The role requires at least 5 years of PM experience in electrical contracting, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Procore,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in electrical contracting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Emque, Riskcast, and Toric.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical contracting/engineering.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; solid business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on status and risks.
• Liaise with field supervision and coordinate meetings.
• Maintain project documentation, change orders, and closeout files.
• Develop budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Procure materials and subcontractors; manage vendor relationships.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and profitability.
