Job summary

Structure Tone Boston, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support tenant improvement construction projects.

The role focuses on supporting senior leadership, coordinating architects and engineers, managing schedules, processing submittals, RFIs, and cost control, while ensuring document control and QA of on-site materials. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 3+ years project management experience in commercial construction.
• Proficient with MS Word & Excel.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership directly and run project audits.
• New hire technology training.
• Coordinate among professional disciplines (architects and engineers).
• Schedule subcontractor manpower and materials resource.
• Review and process submittals and RFIs (requests for information).
• Participate in cost control.
• Document control including reviewing and tracking changes to the contract documents.
• Quality control/quality assurance reviews of on-site installed materials.
• Assist with punch listing and assembling close‑out documents.
