Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support statewide construction projects and act as SME for project technology. You will assist senior leadership, coordinate with architectural/engineering teams, and help with scheduling, submittals, RFIs, and budget tracking.

The role emphasizes QA/QC inspections, punch list work, and thorough documentation. Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in commercial construction are required; CMiC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction or related roles.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; CMiC experience a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to senior leadership, including conducting project audits.
• Train new hires on project-related technologies and tools.
• Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and other professional teams.
• Assist with scheduling subcontractor manpower and material deliveries.
• Review and process submittals and RFIs.
• Participate in cost control efforts and budget tracking.
• Manage document control processes and track changes to contract documents.
• Perform QA/QC inspections of installed materials.
• Assist in punch list development and project close-out documentation.
• Collaborate on safety management initiatives.
• Maintain organized records and documentation with strong attention to detail.
