Job summary

Structure Tone Boston, part of the STO Building Group organization, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support tenant improvement construction projects. You will assist senior leadership, coordinate among architects and engineers, and help manage subcontractors and schedules.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering with 3+ years of PM experience in commercial construction and strong MS Word/Excel skills. A CMiC background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
• 3+ years project management in commercial construction required.
• Proficient in MS Word & Excel; CMiC a plus; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership directly and run project audits.
• Provide new hire technology training.
• Coordinate among architects and engineers.
• Schedule subcontractor manpower and materials resources.
• Review and process submittals and RFIs.
• Participate in cost control.
• Document control and track changes to the contract documents.
• Perform quality control/assurance on on-site installed materials.
• Assist with punch lists and close-out documents.
