Job summary

The Water Restoration Lead Technician/Assistant Project Manager at SERVPRO leads the mitigation crew across water, fire, and mold remediation projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and industry standards while delivering excellent customer service.

You will supervise production technicians, coordinate job flow, document moisture readings, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams on site and during on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of water/fire mitigation experience.
• IICRC WRT or similar certification preferred.
• Knowledge of drying equipment and moisture documentation.
• Valid driver's license and strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to work in person and travel to jobsites; weekend/on-call rotation.
• Authorized to work in the United States and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the mitigation crew on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation projects.
• Perform and supervise water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and remediation production work.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and document moisture readings and daily progress.
• Manage and complete jobs per SERVPRO processes, monitoring from start to finish.
• Respond to service calls, set up and establish efficient job flow, coordinate requirements for each job.
• Communicate expectations to production technicians and supervise their activities and quality of work.
• Explain processes and answer customer questions; build relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers.
• Monitor and respond to customer needs and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with internal parties, including the Job File Coordinator and management.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• 1-3yearsofwater/firemitigationexperience.

• Validdriver'slicenseandstrongcustomerserviceskills,required.
