Job summary

SPGlobalDRT is seeking a Lead Technician to drive on-site remediation and restoration projects, providing hands-on direction to the crew and ensuring quality and safety standards. You will guide workflow, perform production tasks, and deliver attentive customer service on every site visit.

Responsibilities include driving between jobsites, coordinating equipment, documenting work, and communicating professionally with customers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior fire/water/mold restoration or mitigation field experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Ability and willingness to drive to jobsites daily and travel locally or out-of-state when necessary.
• Ability to lead, direct, and provide constructive feedback to a crew on the jobsite.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to work in person and drive to jobsites as needed; weekend/on-call rotation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete jobs according to work orders and guide production work.
• Drive company vehicles between jobsites safely.
• Transport crew and equipment to sites and secure loads.
• Perform mitigation/restoration tasks including water extraction and drying.
• Establish efficient job flow, set up staging areas and equipment.
• Provide hands-on direction and real-time feedback to technicians.
• Ensure crews follow processes and complete work per scope.
• Identify safety hazards and enforce safety procedures.
• Document job files with photos and readings.
• Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors.
• End-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
• Escalate problems to supervisor as needed.
• Maintain equipment, tools, vehicles; drive to sites as required.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• CompletejobsaccordingtoSPGlobalDRTprocessesperworkorder,performingandguidingproductionwork.
• Drivecompanyvehiclestoandbetweenjobsitessafelyandasanessential,regularfunctionofthisrole.
• Transportcrew,tools,equipment,andmaterialstojobsitesandensurevehiclesareproperlyloadedandsecured.
• Performandevaluatemitigation/restorationactivitiesincludingwaterextraction,structuraldrying,set-upofspecialtyequipment,anddemolition.
• Establishefficientjobflow,setupstagingareasandequipment,andcoordinatetherequirementsforeachjob.
• Providehands-ondirectionandreal-timefeedbacktotechniciansonthejobsite.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS
