Job summary

The Beck Group in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the project team on preconstruction, procurement, contract administration and closeout. You will assist in developing schedules and budgets and coordinate with design and field teams to keep projects on track.

The role requires 5+ years of construction experience, a college degree or equivalent, and familiarity with Excel, Procore, Revit and related tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction project or preconstruction experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC and Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager on preconstruction, procurement, contract administration and closeout.
• Develop accurate project schedules with Superintendent input and assist in weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with design team to ensure ongoing coordination and problem solving.
• Assist in budget development, budget setup and subcontractor billings.
• Identify and mitigate risk and mentor junior engineers and interns.
