Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our project team in Austin. This individual will support the team leader on project management duties including preconstruction, procurement, contract administration, and closeout.

The role involves identifying and mitigating risk, and maintaining project financials. You will work with design teams, trade partners, and vendors to ensure coordination and timely delivery, while demonstrating collaboration, integrity, and a passion for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction or related field.
• 5+ years of construction project or preconstruction experience.
• Experience with construction software tools (Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit).

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate subcontractors, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Support project budget setup, change management, and subcontractor billings.
• Develop accurate project schedules with input from the Superintendent.
• Mentor and supervise Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, and Interns.
