Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support statewide construction projects and serve as a SME for project technology. The role covers ground-up construction and interior build-outs, with duties spanning audits, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, budgets, QA/QC, punch lists, and safety collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in CM/Engineering, 3+ years in commercial construction, and proficiency in Word/Excel (CMiC a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; CMiC experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to senior leadership, including conducting project audits.
• Train new hires on project-related technologies and tools.
• Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and other professional teams.
• Assist with scheduling subcontractor manpower and material deliveries.
• Review and process submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Participate in cost control efforts and budget tracking.
• Manage document control processes and track changes to contract documents.
• Perform QA/QC inspections of installed materials.
• Assist in punch list development and preparation of project close-out documentation.
• Collaborate with the team on safety management initiatives.
• Maintain organized records and documentation with a strong attention to detail.
