B&S Site Development in Manassas, VA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support civil/site development projects from pre‑construction through closeout, helping ensure safety, on‑schedule delivery, and quality.

The role suits technically strong, highly organized professionals who want to grow into a full Project Manager role. You’ll work with engineers, field teams, and clients on documentation, scheduling, procurement, and daily project administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of civil construction or site development project support experience.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with construction management software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work in both office and field environments.

Responsabilités

• Review project plans, specifications, and scope with engineers, surveyors, and clients.
• Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and constructability reviews.
• Support scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and field teams to align on milestones.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and meeting agendas.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
• Support safety and quality control initiatives.
