Job summary

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. in Florida is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and operations team.

The role requires coordination with staff at all levels and a focus on safety, efficiency, and confidentiality on a dynamic civil construction site in South Bay, FL. The Assistant Project Manager will help manage subcontracts, submittals, procurement, and daily project administration while liaising with owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors and staff.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Draft subcontractor agreements and track signatures and approvals.
• Coordinate with PM, operations and site team to ensure submittals and schedules.
• Prepare monthly pay requests for PM approval.
• Obtain materials and issue purchase orders; track costs and codes.
• Maintain project documentation and communications with owners and subs.
• Attend site meetings and ensure safety compliance with Superintendent.
