LB&B Associates Inc. in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead operations and maintenance for federal buildings and courthouses. You will guide trades, oversee complex building systems, and drive preventive maintenance programs, while strengthening customer relationships and service quality.

You will coordinate vendor relationships, procurement, reporting, and performance reviews to ensure safe, reliable facilities for the contract portfolio.

Competenze

• Five years of recent experience managing building mechanical maintenance operations for large facilities.
• Experience supervising trades and support staff across multiple facilities.
• Strong knowledge of facility systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

• Contribute to management of operations and maintenance for all contract buildings.
• Lead skilled trades and staff to deliver high-quality service across facilities.
• Train and guide staff to improve performance, safety, and growth.
• Oversee maintenance of machinery and complex building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and evaluate upgrades.
• Negotiate contracts, manage vendors, and procure supplies.
• Inspect grounds and equipment; report repairs and replacements.
• Ensure consistent use of CMMS and provide regular reports to the customer.
• Meet with the customer for updates and direction; maintain customer satisfaction.
