Job summary

LeoForce seeks an Assistant Project Manager in Boston to support the Project Manager through the full project lifecycle, from planning to closeout. The role emphasizes coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project requirements and maintain schedules within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in construction project management, strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project management role.
• Proven experience in RFI Management, Change Order Management, Scheduling, and Planning.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Demonstrated decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• A strong team player, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning to project closeout.
• Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Managing RFIs and change orders effectively, ensuring that all changes are documented, communicated, and implemented efficiently.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and making necessary adjustments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Anticipating potential issues and risks, and proactively developing and implementing effective solutions.
• Participating in project meetings and providing regular updates on project status to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring that all project activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
