Job summary

Nautilus Homes in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team through every phase of residential construction while learning the processes that deliver award-winning homes. You will coordinate with subcontractors, track schedules and budgets, attend meetings, and maintain organized project files.

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or a related field is required, with up to 2 years of construction internship or work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of construction experience through internships or full-time work
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Comfortable working both in the office and on active construction sites
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore is a plus
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning and coordinating residential construction projects
• Help maintain project schedules and monitor progress
• Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and homeowners
• Attend project meetings and document action items
• Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and project progress
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation
• Maintain organized project files using construction management software
• Support problem-solving and help keep projects moving forward

What You’ll Do
