The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential construction leadership, Procore experience, ability to read complex plans, and strong organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Superintendent or similar residential leadership role.
• Experience building custom residential projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil and interior design plans.
• Procore experience is required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF markup software.
• Comfortable using mobile apps for logs, inspections, photos, and field reporting.
• Strong organization and planning skills with ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent communication with clients and trade partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations from pre-construction through punch list.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, inspections and deliveries to keep on schedule.
• Maintain and execute project schedules using Gantt charts and look-ahead planning.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, interior designers, and trade partners.
• Conduct daily quality control walks to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
• Complete daily logs, inspections, photos, and field docs using Procore.
• Review shop drawings and construction documents for accuracy.
• Read and interpret drawings from civil to interior design.
• Issue proactive solutions to keep projects on time and on budget.
• Maintain digital project documentation and communicate updates via Microsoft 365.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily field operations from pre-construction through final punch list.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries to keep projects moving according to schedule.
• Maintain and execute project schedules using Gantt charts, Procore, and look-ahead planning.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, interior designers, and trade partners.
• Conduct daily quality control walks and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and Nautilus standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite that is ready for client, architect, or design team walkthroughs.
• Complete accurate daily logs, inspections, photos, and other field documentation using Procore.
• Review shop drawings and construction documents for accuracy.
• Read and interpret plans ranging from civil and architectural drawings to interior design documents.
• Proactively identify and resolve jobsite challenges before they impact the schedule or quality of the project.
• Maintain organized digital project documentation and communicate updates through Microsoft 365 and company systems.
• Use technology and AI tools when appropriate to improve communication, documentation, and efficiency.
• Champion Nautilus Homes processes and contribute to continuous improvement across the field operations team.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar residential construction leadership role.
• Experience building custom residential projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and interior design plans.
• Procore experience is required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF markup software.
• Comfortable using mobile applications for daily logs, inspections, photos, and field reporting.
• Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, Project Managers, architects, engineers, interior designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• A calm, proactive approach to solving problems and managing jobsite challenges.
• Pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized jobsite.
• Comfortable learning and adopting new technology, standardized workflows, and AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to support documentation and communication.
• A passion for custom home building and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and participate in our Drug Free Workplace Program.
