Job summary

Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware in Prairieville, LA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our project management team. This full-time, on-site role supports the project manager through all phases of construction projects, coordinating with customers, vendors, and architects to deliver the best solutions.

Responsibilities include assisting with estimates, contract negotiations, submittals, procurement, change orders, delivery, billing, and closeout while learning the full

• Experience reading plans and specifications.
• Software familiarity: Comsense.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in all phases of the project.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and architects to meet project needs.
• Assist with estimate, contract negotiation, submittals, procurement, change orders, delivery, billing, and closeout.
• Learn to manage projects across lifecycle.
