A leading recruiting services company is seeking a Project Design Coordinator/Sales Support to enhance their Western Sales Team's efficiency. This remote role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities. This is a remote position but you MUST LIVE IN THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY OR ORANGE COUNTY AREAS OF CALIFORNIA
PROJECT DESIGN COORDINATOR/SALES SUPPORT POSITION
The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the efficacy of the Western Sales Team, which encompasses many roles. Administrative in nature, the Project Manager must be organized, detailed, and possess good time management skills. It is imperative this person have the ability to handle a large workload in a fast-paced environment with a keen understanding of our deadline-driven industry. A confident, trustworthy individual with a humble, serving attitude. Hospitality interior products industry experience preferred but not necessary.
Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel, Word, and SharePoint
Ability to read and interpret basic floorplans
Professional, personable, and courteous communication with clientele and colleagues
Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail due to high volume of electronic documentation
Strong problem-solving skills with a calm, solution-oriented approach when challenges arise
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and internal processes
Candidate must have a reliable mode of transportation. While this is a remote position, occasional in-person tasks (such as sample drop-offs) may be required
Provide pre-order and post-order support for top-performing territories
Act as an extension of Account Managers by supporting customer design interactions and assisting with the creation of custom carpet designs
Deliver proactive communication and ensure accurate distribution of information to both internal and external stakeholders
Respond to customer inquiries via email/phone within 2 hours
Prepare quotations per customer requests within 24–36 hours
Process purchase orders, manage submittal approvals, and ensure detailed accuracy
Track order status from start to finish, providing weekly updates and ensuring customer satisfaction
Support customer sample logistics, including occasional drop-off and pick-up coordination
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in managing a high volume of internal and external emails
Maintain organized project folders using SharePoint
Prepare detailed quotes and provide regular project updates to clients
