Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to join a growing Texas-based operation. You will support the Project Manager across bidding, documentation and subcontractor coordination while working with drawings, specs, submittals, materials, meetings and inspections to ensure projects run smoothly. A clear progression path to Project Manager awaits as the team expands in Texas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ construction experience.
• Experience working for a General Contractor (GC).
• Interior / Tenant Improvement experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with project fundamentals.
• Bidding, submittals, materials, RFIs, budgeting, and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Work with drawings, specifications, submittals, materials, OAC meetings, and inspections to keep projects on track.
• Accelerate development and progression toward a Project Manager role.

Are you an Assistant Project Manager looking to join a well-established, nationwide general contractor where you will be given a clear route to progress into a Project Manager role as the business expands across Texas?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing specialist contractor that is opening a new office in Texas. Here, you will build real project management foundations and develop your skills within a structured team as the new operation scales up with an exciting pipeline of projects.

This company are a long-established commercial GC with multiple offices across the country and a strong reputation built on repeat business. As a result of continued success and major client demand in Texas, they are now looking to add to their early Houston team as they grow headcount and establish a long-term presence in the state.

In this role you will support the Project Manager across bidding, documentation and subcontractor coordination. You will also work with drawings, specifications, submittals, materials, OAC meetings, and inspections to help keep projects running smoothly and to standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager looking to accelerate their development, learn a proven approach to estimating and project delivery, and progress through structured levels toward a Project Manager position.

The Role:

• Support the Project Manager with project fundamentals

• Up to $85,000 with bonuses, ESOP, PTO, 401(k) and more!

The Person:

• Experience working for a General Contractor (GC)
