Job summary

Amicus Talent Solutions is assisting a well-established General Contractor in Texas to appoint an experienced Assistant Project Manager. This role supports delivery from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating subs, RFIs, submittals, scheduling and client communication.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction PM, GC background, and relevant certifications (OSHA 30, CCM/PMP/LEED). You will collaborate with project teams to drive progress and ensure quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Previous General Contractor experience strongly preferred.
• Experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
• CCM, PMP and/or LEED accreditation would be a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, schedules and project controls.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders and subcontractor coordination.

We are working with a well-established General Contractor in Texas that is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join the team.

The Role

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and senior leadership to support the successful delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
