Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for construction in the Greater Milwaukee, WI area. You will support project managers from tender through substantial completion, tracking budgets, updating schedules, and processing change orders.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction project management experience.
• Exposure to commercial or multi-unit construction projects.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, contracts and project delivery.
• Familiarity with Procore, MS Project or similar tools.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning and execution from tender to substantial completion.
• Assist with budget tracking, schedule updates, and change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants under PM direction.
• Attend site meetings, take minutes, and maintain project documentation.
• Support safety compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in maintaining client relationships through clear communication.

Job Details

• Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of projects from tender through substantial completion
• Assist with budget tracking, schedule updates, and change order processing
• Help coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants under the direction of the Project Manager
• Attend site meetings, take minutes, and maintain accurate project documentation
• Support compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist in maintaining client relationships through clear and timely communication
• Help identify and escalation project risks to the Project Manager as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 2–5 years of experience in construction project management or a related role
• Exposure to managing or assisting on commercial or multi-unit construction projects
• Basic understanding of construction methods, contracts, and project delivery
• Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, or similar project management tools
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
