Job summary

Wisconsin Community Services in Milwaukee seeks a Substance Use Counselor/Case Manager to provide ongoing individual and group counseling, case management and supervision of adult male ex-offenders within a Residential Reentry Center. You will oversee all aspects of an assigned caseload throughout participation in the program.

The role requires an associate degree in a social-service field (BA preferred), SAC-IT certification, and the ability to conduct intake/assessments, develop treatment

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate’s degree in social-servic­es. BA preferred.
• Wisconsin SAC-IT certification required; SAC/CSAC preferred.
• Experience with cognitive behavioral approaches and MI is a plus.
• Must clear background checks and maintain required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to adult male ex-offenders in a residential center.
• Perform intake/assessment using ASI, ASAM, URICA; develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate referrals, document progress, and maintain resident records.
• Deliver crisis intervention and supervise residents as needed.
• Attend supervision sessions and All Staff meetings; ensure program compliance.
