Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) in Waterbury, CT seeks an Assistant Program Manager for the PILOTS program. The role guides day-to-day operations, supports staff, and helps participants achieve housing, health, and community goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals with psychiatric or co-occurring diagnoses
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and reasonable proficiency with technology

Responsibilities

• Assists the Program Manager to train and supervise outreach staff to ensure appropriate service delivery
• Assists outreach staff with time management: manages logistics of client coverage and assists when necessary
• Provide assistance to staff in securing housing, move-in, relocations, interventions in eviction processes, rent arrears and housing stability
• Provide crisis intervention
