Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Senior Program Director for our Community Outreach team. The role leads subsidized housing-with-services programs to help residents access resources, meals, activities, and community integration.

You will supervise staff, liaise with contracting agencies, and ensure program operations meet state regulations and professional standards. A Master's degree and relevant experience are preferred. Vehicle and driver check required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services-related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of management experience in a mental health related program.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with supportive Housing and HUD housing.
• Approved criminal background and driving check.
• Registered & insured vehicle available for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, training and support to staff to enhance effectiveness and growth.
• Develop and manage a quality program to integrate clients into the community.
• Serve as liaison to contracting agencies and community with effective communication.
• Oversee all facets of supportive housing and related programming in CT.
