Job summary

ServiceSource in Virginia is seeking an assistant to the Program Manager who will step in during absences and help develop and implement services for individuals served. You’ll support staff to maintain a healthy, safe environment and ensure compliance with Medicaid, Licensing, CARF, and other funding sources and company policy.

You will contribute to daily operations, document records, and coordinate with management, staff, and families to promote active engagement and quality programming

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Required: Three (3) years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must pass Virginia DBHDS fingerprinting and background check.
• Must pass the Orientation to Developmental Disabilities (ODD) assessment and competencies.
• Employees who drive individuals must have a valid driver’s license with good MVR; driving training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as Program Manager in his/her absence and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Assist in developing and implementing services, supports, and programming for participants.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid, licensure, CARF, and funding sources; maintain accurate documentation.
• Promote active engagement and safe environment through group and individual activities.
• Maintain participant records and participate in staff trainings on documentation and SOPs.
