*Starting rate $20.25/hour*

Advocates is seeking enthusiastic, motivated team players to provide emotional support and daily care to individuals in a residential setting.

The Assistant Program Manager will implement the mission of BH Residential Services. They will provide all residential services to persons served, and perform, coordinate, and/or monitor designated programmatic administrative or clinical functions.

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma/GED

Shift: Blended Shift (Sunday-Thursday 8-4 and 2-10 shifts)

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the development of treatment plans and attend treatment meetings, including weekly staff meetings.
  2. Document progress towards treatment plans.
  3. Perform interventions with persons served that address their goals and promote skill development.
  4. Provide linkage with other program staff and service providers.
  5. Communicate individual’s progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.
  6. Provide ongoing support, guidance, role modeling, and supervision to persons served.
  7. Participate in or facilitate group work as delegated by supervisor.
  8. Identify and address community integration issues for persons served, as designated.
  9. Monitor and document medication administration.
  10. Perform, coordinate, and/or monitor clinical and administrative responsibilities delegated by supervisor.
  11. Train direct care staff in their responsibilities.
  12. Supervise overnight staff as delegated.
  13. Provide coordination and leadership during shifts, vacations, or leaves in the supervisor's absence.
  14. Ensure a clean, safe, and home-like environment for persons served.
  15. Remain alert during scheduled work shifts.
  16. Ensure all paperwork, reports, and trainings are completed timely.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a related field with 1 year of experience; or H.S. Diploma/GED with 2 years related experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding and competence in serving culturally diverse populations is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration ability.
