Volunteers of America Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Program Director to support the Program Director in managing the SSVF program serving the Boston and South Shore regions. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on oversight, staff supervision, grant compliance, and ensuring housing stability for veterans and their families.

Qualifications

• Three+ years experience in homeless services, preferably veterans-focused.
• Experience in housing navigation, healthcare navigation, and subsidy services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise Shallow Subsidy, Housing Navigation, and Healthcare Navigation staff.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training for staff.
• Ensure compliance with SSVF requirements and grant expectations; monitor outcomes.
