Bay Cove Human Services seeks an Assistant Program Director to support day-to-day administration, programming, and operations of assigned Developmental Service programs. This non-exempt role emphasizes advocacy, leadership, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Requires GED or High School Diploma; college degree may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Must have MAP certification for medication administration (or obtain within 6 months).
• CPR & First Aid (SFA) certification required; obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Safety Care certification required; obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and one year driving experience.
• Strong reading, writing, communication, and computer literacy are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to program model and quality protocols; support the Program Director daily operations.
• Attend and lead staff meetings; train when Director is absent.
• Demonstrate clinical judgement while supporting individuals and the program.
• Assist in developing and reporting ISP progress for individuals.
• Model and teach activities of daily living and safety; manage medication and meals.
