Job summary

The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services in New York City is seeking an Assistant Program Director to provide clinical and administrative oversight for the Adult Residential Division. The APD will supervise Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide staff through training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience.
• Experience with adults diagnosed with mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse history.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Social Worker, Case Manager, and Case Associates.
• Review assessments, progress notes, service plans, and discharge plans for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate staffing with Residence Managers; review timesheets and overtime.
• Facilitate high-risk and group supervisions and conduct staff evaluations.
• Run reports in Tableau and document work in MyAvatar; use SysAid for ticketing.
