Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Ware, MA, seeks an Assistant Program Director to provide administrative and clinical oversight at the Ware Family Resource Center, guiding an interdisciplinary team serving youth and families.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed intake, treatment planning, group supervision, and strong collaboration with families and community partners. A master’s degree and MA licensure are required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
  • Licensure (LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC) required.
  • Massachusetts CANS Certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and families.
  • Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to FRC staff, including scheduling and coverage.
  • Conduct trauma-informed intake, assessment, and treatment planning for youth and families.
  • Facilitate evidence-based groups and provide clinical training and consultation to staff.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and produce reports for funding sources.
  • Build collaborative relationships with families, team members, and community partners.
  • Represent the FRC at community events and step in for the Program Director as needed.

What You Will Do

Who You Are
