Qualifications

  • Two years college teaching experience (48+ credits) with two years professional work experience in Allied Health or related field.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Responsibilities

  • Teach thirty (30) credit hours per academic year in the assigned discipline.
  • Offer courses in lecture, hybrid, and online formats; schedules may include day and evening classes.
  • Respond to and work with students, peers, and external agencies.
  • Develop curriculum and periodically review instructional materials; assist with program reviews and accreditation activities.
  • Plan and execute program-related events; participate in professional development and conferences.
  • Recruit, advise, and retain students in designated program areas; schedule courses; hire and evaluate faculty.
