The Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering is a full-time, tenure-line faculty position within the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Program at Penn State Harrisburg. We seek an enthusiastic individual committed to teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate will contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment, foster collaborative research, and engage in service activities aligned with institutional goals.
August 2025. This is a term position. Onsite teaching is essential.
The primary responsibilities include:
Must have a doctoral degree in civil engineering or a related field by August 2025. Expertise in transportation engineering, infrastructure resilience, or environmental impacts is preferred. Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) is essential. Evidence of scholarly growth and research ability is required.
