Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide lab instruction for Paramedic course.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
  1. Assist the Instructor Coordinator with course lectures andpractical labs.
  2. Assist with course make-up and review sessions.
  3. Assist with additional EMT and/or Paramedic class needs andpreparation.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Associate degree.
  2. Current Paramedic Certification.
  3. Ability to perform all skills associated with the coursecorrectly, efficiently, and with proficiency.
  4. CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NAEMT Instructor certifications.
  5. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Professional development in teaching at the community collegelevel.
  2. Experience using evidence-based strategies to support student success including frequent communication and active learning.
  3. Teaching experience using learning systems to support and improve instruction.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION:

$62.48 per hour, 18 hours per week.Part-time, non-benefited MCCC Unit position.
