Gables Search Group is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to lead the Production department, supervise staff, and ensure products meet specifications. The role includes planning, directing, and evaluating production activities, with responsibility for training personnel, safety, and quality control.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or bachelor degree and 4 years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years of supervision.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises production activities to meet requirements.
• Determines manufacturing priorities based on schedules.
• Interprets specifications and approves in-process production.
• Implements safety programs for area personnel.
• Assures product quality.
• Directs routine equipment maintenance and setup.
• Coordinates with other supervisors to harmonize plant activities.
• Reports machine malfunctions and takes corrective action.
• Inspects products for conformance to specifications.
• Follows production schedules and estimates work hours for tasks.
• Enforces safety regulations and company policies.
• Adjusts procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends improvements to methods, equipment, and product quality.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
