Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to lead and coordinate the Production department, ensuring schedules, training, and performance evaluation across the team. You will drive safety programs, supervise equipment setup and maintenance, and collaborate with supervisors to optimize plant operations and product quality.

The role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to interpret specifications and production data, with a focus on meeting deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of Manufacturing Experience.
• Two or more years of supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the Production department.
• Trains individuals and evaluates performance.
• Plans and directs work to meet production schedules.
• Ensures product quality and safety programs.
• Maintains equipment setup and routine maintenance.
• Coordinates with supervisory personnel to optimize plant operations.
• Reports machine and equipment malfunctions and enforces safety regulations.
• Analyses and solves production problems.
