• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be 21 years of age for positions that serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• In the produce manager's absence, directing produce department personnel to meet goals and objectives.
• Communicating directly with the store team lead and produce department supervisors.
• Ordering produce and produce department products necessary to maintain adequate stock levels and merchandising fruits, vegetables and produce products.
• Unloading trailers, receiving merchandise, verifying orders, breaking down produce loads, placing cases in the warehouse or walk-in cooler.
• Understanding proper product trimming, rotation, culling, crisping and watering techniques to ensure attractiveness and shelf life.
• Building attractive displays of produce, while maintaining proper product inventory levels.
• Monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement and the proper use of product shelf tags and signage.
• All other related duties as assigned.
