Job summary

Raley's is seeking an Assistant Produce Team Lead to execute a wide range of tasks across the store and to lead the produce team as a trainee while helping achieve department goals with product expertise and top-quality fresh produce.

The role includes directing staff in the absence of the produce manager, coordinating with supervisors, ordering produce, stocking, and creating attractive displays. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Direct produce department staff in the store when the manager is absent.
• Coordinate with store team lead and produce department supervisors.
• Order produce and maintain stock levels to meet merchandising standards.
• Unload trailers, receive merchandise, verify orders, and stock cases.
• Ensure proper trimming, rotation, watering, and overall product quality.
• Build attractive produce displays and manage inventory levels.
• Monitor pricing, signage, and shelf tags.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
