You will assist in managing the department, ensure product quality, and drive merchandising and sales while maintaining freshness and safety standards.

The role emphasizes training and developing the Produce team, coordinating deliveries, and upholding company health and sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have basic math knowledge.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department, follow regulations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jack as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager with department management and merchandising.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness by proper receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, and rotation.
• Lead brainstorming to deliver top-quality product and service.
