Job summary

Ducklings Early Learning Center in West Chester, PA is seeking a warm, energetic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team on-site. You will support age-appropriate activities for toddlers, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and engage with families to share daily progress.

We value patience, enthusiasm, and teamwork as we provide quality early childhood education and care for young children during their formative years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Prior experience with toddlers or young children in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Ability to obtain PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
