Ducklings Early Learning Center in West Chester, PA is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher who is warm, energetic, and passionate to support young children during their formative years. You will help plan age-appropriate activities, create a safe and nurturing environment, and engage toddlers in daily routines.

Responsibilities include assisting the lead teacher, guiding social-emotional development, communicating with families, and maintaining a clean classroom.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior toddler/childcare experience.
• Knowledge of child development principles.
• Ability to obtain PA clearances.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Patient, compassionate demeanor and good teamwork.

• Support a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supervise and engage toddlers during play, meals, and daily routines
• Foster social-emotional development through positive guidance and interaction
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe classroom
• Assist with diapering, potty training, and other personal care needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Prior experience working with toddlers or young children in a childcare setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Ability to obtain required clearances (PA Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI)
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
