Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Portfolio Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio, focusing on renewals, lease compliance, delinquency management, tenant relations, and move-in/move-out coordination.

This role collaborates with accounting, maintenance, and leasing teams to deliver a compliant, customer-focused experience for tenants and property owners, while balancing administrative precision with people-centered service.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or related administrative role.
• Understanding of lease terms, compliance requirements, and tenant/landlord regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
• Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio a plus).
• Customer-service mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full renewal process, including preparing renewal offers and securing owner approval.
• Track upcoming expirations and ensure timely outreach and documentation.
• Monitor and enforce lease compliance and issue notices as needed.
• Oversee delinquency collection efforts, including payment plan coordination.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with accounting, leasing, and maintenance teams.
• Communicate renewal recommendations and tenant concerns to property owners.
• Maintain accurate records within the property management software.
