Job summary

gpac is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a well-established developer-builder in Irving, TX. This role supports planning and execution on large-scale commercial projects and offers exposure to the owner/development side of the business.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams; assist with schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation; review plans and submittals; and contribute to project meetings, with a clear path toward independent project

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience on multifamily, hospitality, mixed-use, high-rise or large-scale projects is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency with construction software such as Procore preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of large-scale construction projects
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and development teams
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Track project progress and help resolve issues
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders
• Gain exposure to the development and owner side of projects from planning through completion
