The ideal candidate has prior commercial construction experience and a proven ability to manage complex facilities from start to finish. You will oversee project phases, bid subcontractors and contract negotiations, and lead the project team while ensuring safety, scheduling, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sequential phases of projects.

Our client is a COMMERCIAL GENERAL CONTRACTOR who specializes in mission critical/data center project.

They are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the team building a new $1.4B data center outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

This position requires previous commercial construction experience.

Duties include the following as it pertains to managing a project:

• Oversight of the successive phases of projects.
• Subcontractor bidding and contract negotiations for projects.
• Project team selection, management and development.
• Overall safety and scheduling for assigned projects.
• Institute and oversee all procedures required for the work to be completed according to schedule.
• Interaction and communication with architects, engineers, general contractors and subcontractors.
• Adhering to company standards while completing projects on time and under budget.
