Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking an Assistant Plant Operator to support daily plant operations at our Bridgeport facility. The role involves operating boilers and demineralization systems, monitoring instrument readings, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while optimizing efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in power plant operations or 3 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; higher degrees desirable.
• 2 years in power plant operation or 3 years related experience.
• Mechanical skills for inspections and replacements.
• Knowledge of steam generating power plant operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Operator in daily operation and maintenance.
• Investigate changes in instrument readings and equipment operation.
• Notify Supervisor of operational inconsistencies or concerns.
• Maintain logs and written documentation on schedule.
• Operate demineralization system and perform water tests.
