Job summary

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead nursing teams during the night shift and ensure exceptional patient care and operational effectiveness.

The role directs and supervises nursing care functions in specialty areas, implements policies, and ensures compliance with standards for staff, patients, and the public. The incumbent may assume patient assignments when required to maintain high quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: BSN
• Minimum two years as a staff nurse
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
• Basic Computer Skills

Job Summary

Full Time, Nights

Up to $5,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in specialty areas for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager’s primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel; however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred: BSN

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
American Heart Association BLS certification
Successful completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
Certification course within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
