Delray Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead nursing care, ensure policy compliance, and support a team focused on quality patient outcomes.

Requirements include BSN preferred, minimum four years as a staff nurse, Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS and critical care courses; prior charge nurse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: BSN
• Minimum four (4) years as a staff nurse
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida
• BLS, ACLS, Basic EKG, Critical Care Course
• TNCC within one year. Optional for TICU/TSD
• PALS
• ENPC. Optional for TICU and TSD
• CCRN Preferred for TICU
• PCCN Preferred for TISD
• CEN or TCRN preferred for ED Resus

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care.
• Implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public.
• Performs the duties of staff nurse as needed to support the nursing team.

Job Summary

Full Time Nights

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager performs the duties of staff nurse as needed to support the nursing team.
