Job summary

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead nursing care teams during night shifts and drive excellent patient outcomes.

You will implement policies, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate clinical operations; Florida RN license, BLS, and ACLS as required; BSN preferred; two years as staff nurse with charge experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in Florida is required.
• A BSN is preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS required based on unit assignment.
• Two years minimum experience as a staff nurse; charge nurse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises nursing care functions to ensure quality patient care.
• Implements, educates, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff and the public.
• Takes charge of nursing personnel and may take patient assignments when needed to deliver high-quality care.

Job Summary

Full Time, Nights

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager’s primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel; however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Minimum:Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.

Preferred:BSN

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
American Heart Association BLS Certification
ACLS (AHA) required based on assigned Unit

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Computer Skills.
