Qualifications

• Certifications specific to areas of expertise
• 2-3 years RN experience in clinical area

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the clinical activities within the department using critical thinking.
• Supervise care delivered by department staff, directly and indirectly.
• Assume house supervision duties as assigned.

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Department and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all department staff members. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
